It is sometimes difficult to purchase an item on-line just based on an image, but we were looking for a contemporary lamp for a remodeled bedroom and this seemed to fit the bill. When the lamp arrived and we placed it on the side table we were extremely happy. It is very good quality, nicely finished, and is a great scale for a bedroom. This has become a signature piece in the room and exceeded expectations.
