These lamps are nice enough for a kids room, but don't be fooled as I was. I found similar lamps in a very well known department store for $10 $15 less. Usually, I check such things first but admittedly I screwed up on this one. Be extra careful trying to remove the plastic from the shade as it puts dents in the shade and you can't "pop" them out.

These lamps are small and the lamp shade is flemsy. The bulb makes the medal super hot and it's hard to get your hand underneath the shade to turn the switch off and on. I have normal size hands so it's not that my hands are too big. This lamp is just too compact.

The lamp is smaller than I had hoped. I also thought the shade was too low, but it serves its overall purpose in my son's baseball themed room. We don't turn on the lamp often; it's mostly for aesthetics.

Very cute. Cuter than in the picture, and arrived in great shape. I like that the on/off switch is at the top of the lamp instead of on the cord. Makes it easy to use, and we can tuck the cord behind the furniture.

I ordered this lamp and was disappointed with the condition of the shade cracked and bent. Will have to incur expense of buying a new lampshade because the lamp itself is nice, but unuseable with the defective shade. VERY DISAPPOINTED as I am used to receiving excellent merchandise thru Amazon.
