I used this finial on an urn-shaped antique coppery-colored lamp that I found at an estate sale. The lamp is 23" tall overall with an ivory shade that's 10" tall and 13" wide at the base. The match is so good that it all looks like it was made to go together. This finial is lovely but understated, so would probably go well with many styles and sizes of lamps, even ones with lots of design detail.

This looked elegant in the picture, but very plasticy look/feel once I got it. It's a beautiful/dramatic design, which I got to top a beautiful lap with a similar feel. The lamp is all iron and bronze. Why would you design something so elegant and use such cheap material.
