The metal swing arms for this lighted magnifier are not steel I-beams but the lightweight frame is sturdy enough for normal usage. The fluorescent bulb provides plenty of light and the magnifying lens allows for an undistorted view. The clamping system works fine for me.

Light weight to the point of being flimsy. Clamp does not stay on counter, needs some sort of rubber to protect furniture. Screw it too light to tighten clamp enough to hold clamp when lamp is placed in it. Not worth the price
