I bought this with diaper changes in mind. Particularly in comparison with the previous light I bought a round one, touch on/off, which fell apart in under a week it has been exceptionally impressive. In short, it does as advertised. It's very bright, which is great for aiming at the diaper area to make sure the area is totally clean, while still ensuring a mostly dark room so baby doesn't wake up too much. You can also bounce it off the wall for a more mellow light. And, because it's motion-sensitive, it's hands free. Of the many baby items I've bought, it's been one of the most useful and least problematic. So many things don't perform as advertised. This one does!

Purchased 5 of these as we have recently moved into an Assisted Living/Retirement community and they have lots of closets in our apartment, but no lights :( In the main closet I put up one on each end and have them set for the "motion activation". The only problem I have is that I had to use something extra for sticking to walls as this is an apartment, and

I wanted these for the motion sensor purpose. After reading instructions repeatedly, i realized these had NO option for a motion sensor as in the product description. I gave these to me neighbor who was able to use them.

I bought one from Wal-Mart worked well, went looking for another, Wal -Mart was out, went to Amazon found them bought three, two were wrong ones ( nonmotion sensor) returned them, they re-sent two more, they were wrong ones (non motion sensor). returned them. Order two more from POS Geeks LLC somewhere in La Cresenta Ca. they were wrong ones (non Motion sensor) called them three times left voice mail they did not return calls , complained to Amazon they filed a dispute, POS said that I did not return the items, ( Uhhhh you need to give me a call an RGA or something to mail them back ....... I finally figured out what POS stands for "PIECE OF S*iT". I still have the items, Amazon gave me credit for the items ( THANKS YOU) I want to return items as soon as they contact me
