This lamp struck me as an in expensive, useful item that can make a very stylish statement, and this is why I bought it. It did not disappoint in that sense; it effortlessly dresses up my studio, and can look very chic in hi-lo décor. My only problem with it: I can't get the shade to be straight. It's always crooked. I was going crazy trying and trying to get it to stay in place, until I finally just gave up.
It doesn't look high-quality, but, like I said, mixed with other stylish items, it works well as an inexpensive statement piece.
A warning: it's a small lamp. It probably won't look good sitting on a huge piece of furniture.

It's exactly like I imagined it to look. It's so modern and chic. Very good quality and easy to screw a lightbulb in pop on the top and turn it on. I ordered the Black and White Damask for my side of the bed and the plain white for my husbands side.

These lamps are just darling and I have one on each side of my bed with the matching comforter set. The price was spectacular. The chains are not super easy to use and you have to yank pretty hard, but other than that, you just can't beat the price and quality.
