I ordered the lighted magnifier to show off the jewlery I sell at flea markets. The lighted feature is great, I am normally working into the night and it really helps show off the rings. I needed something battery operated since I don't have access to a power source. I purchased this to use at my workbench. Since my wife used it ....I do not see it much anymore. I will sneak it back downstairs, and next time I look , it is gone. So, I guess you could say we both like it. It is sturdy enough for its size, the light is good and bright. Runs on 3 AAA batteries, so , no cord in the way. Very good for the money, and for the aged eyesI seem to have acqired over the past few years.UPDATE
I have tried several other lamps since this review. I paid more for the others and have not been satisfied with them. I should have just bought another one of these. This one works as good or better than ones that are double the price.There was another one I really liked, (Normande) It was perfect, except the light quit working within 2 days, and the replacement did the same. This one is well worth the money....In my opinion.
