This is a cool looking lamp and looks great in our apartment. The foot switch makes it easy to turn on and off. The lamp is WAY overpriced here as it is only $15 if you buy it straight from IKEA. This lamp very delicate. We have to replace ours as the cat ran into it while escaping from our puppy and just about ripped the bottom clean off.

This item came promptly, was EASY to set up. Gives a great soft glow and adds an attractive quality to the room without being overpowering (in a TV room, where soft light is a plus). Probably cheaper at Ikea, but I didn't have that option. Very satisfied.

I rarely write reviews, but this lamp is so spectacular that I wanted to share my joy. I received this item a couple of months ago but was in the process of moving so I just opened it tonight. It is beautiful! The shade is delicate and crisp white -combine that with the natural crinkled appearance of rice paper and the "ribs" running through it and you have a visually appealing, wonderful floor lamp that is sure to accent almost any room. It is one of the few products I have ordererd where I put it together and said... WOW!!
