I am comparing the G7 820lumen warm white bulb G7 Power G7A19DIM830WW 830 Lumen Omni-Directional LED Dimmable Light Bulb, A19, Warm White to this Maxxima bulb.
Color: The Maxima has a warmer, redder color than the G7. The G7 is pretty warm (yellow tint) already to begin with but the Maxxima is even warmer
Brightness: You will see from the attached pictures... The Maxxima is very directional and is much brighter in the front 120 degree while the G7... well is omnidirectional. You can tell from the pictures posted that the Maxxima gives out all the light above the lamp while the G7 is more uniform and lights up the lamp more evenly.
I have no way to test the power consumption but the G7 was tested at 12.5W before. The Maxxima is rated at 12W
One confusing thing about the Maxxima bulb is that the box says the bulb is dimmable but there is an inscription on the bulb saying "do not use with dimmer" I will update after I get my dimmer switch.
Update: Received my dimmer and I can confirm that both of the reviewed bulbs are dimmable. Conclusion is that if you have a fixture or application which can take a directional bulb, go with the maxima. If omnidirectional is a must the G7 is a better choice. The Maxxima is a tad bit brighter.

I purchased these bulbs for many of my fixtures. I've had a number go dim after a few months. I consider the quality of this bulb very poor.
