My mom had a touch lamp for 15 years which ultimately failed last November. I went to Amazon and purchased a new one from etouch /OK--it held up until the first big power storm in July, then it wouldn't turn OFF. I reordered but the replacement lasted two weeks before we had a problem with it following a storm. It is now working on a surge protector and seems to be fine. The lamp is beautiful and my mother loves it, but further electrical protection is advisable.

Iordered this light and received confirmation of the sale... as I was waiting for it to arrive I received an email stating that I was not going to get the lamp they were out and not getting any more!!!! Why take the order if they had no product???
