The gas pump is on connected by glue. I returned one because it wasn't attached. The second on I received was the same.

I have no complaints. Other posters have complained that the material is cheesy and breaks easily, I however have not had this problem. It is an inexpensive lamp, and it has my motorcycle on the shade, too cool! I would recommend this lamp to any VRSCF Enthusiasts or owners, although I don't think it is an "Official" HD product, so if that bothers you, oh well.
