I'm very pleased with the construction, look, and size of the lamp. Mine came dull finished as mentioned in another review. I shined mine up using linseed oil, and now my lamp glistens beautifully as the one in the picture does.

That's a whole lot lamp I got for about 43$. Don't let this picture fool you. This lamp is really tall and heavy. I really like how sturdy it is but the finish is not shiny like it looks on the picture. Still very very nice though. I had to bend the shade a little bit in place because it looked off. But now it's just perfect to me especially for this price. I see the price jumped up to more than double of what I paid. The lamp is worth also this price but I personally would never pay over 90$ for a table lamp.
