This is a lovely, high-quality table lamp. I have received many compliments on it. Two notes:
(1) Th lamp is is perhaps not the best choice for a household with small children or rambunctious pets, because it is a bit top-heavy and tips easily. I addressed this problem by using earthquake putty to secure the lamp to its table.
(2) The color is more of a greenish gray than a gold/bronze as depicted on my monitor.

In the photograph of the Sanford teardrop glass lamp the color was bronze with a hint of gold. It also had a shine to the lamp's finish. In reality, the lamp base is more gray, no gold or bronze, therefore it does not match the shade. I felt the quality was very poor. The shade is thin and feels like plastic or acrylic and the base has no weight to it and feels flimsy. I will be sending it back. It was very disappointing.
