Ordered this lamp for our guest bedroom. I was also considering some of the Ikea lamps, but went with this since it was available with Prime 2-day free shipping. It has all the characteristics I was looking for -modern, clean lines, basic and takes a 60 watt bulb. It has a hefty, solid base that you screw together yourself, and the shade is off-white and arrived safely and wrapped in plastic. The only thing I wish I'd known or thought of before buying is that the top of the shade is entirely open, so when the lamp is sitting on a low table, you're looking straight down at the bare bulb. Still a great lamp overall especially for the price, and I'm keeping it, but thought future buyers would appreciate the heads-up.

This is a great lamp if you're looking for something that is shorter than most table lamps but provides good light. I bought this lamp to put next to a chair in our family room and wanted it bright enough for reading. The lamp allows a 60W bulb, which is good. Most smaller lamps I saw only allowed a 40W bulb, which may be fine for a bedside lamp, but not for a family room. The lamp is attractive and the base is stable. It even has 4 rubber feet on its bottom so it won't mar your table and a cord that matches the base so it's not highly visible. The shade is neutral (white, but not "bright" white, which is great), modern, and included with the lamp. Overall a great little lamp, at a fantastic price, and with awesome Amazon Prime fulfillment.

Lamp was shipped quickly and came in good condition. Brushed nickel finish and fabric shade were clean and in good condition. It looks just like the picture. You get what you see. Nice lamp for the $. Would order again.

I have to say these lamps turned out to be quite a nice suprise. First of all, they made the trip to my new home in South Korea in great shape and nothing was wrong with them upon arrival. After a quick assembly and adding lightbulbs they now sit beautifully atop the night tables that flank my king bed. The lamps are simple and understated; very clean lines, yet their presence really sets a tone. "Minimalist modern" I would describe them. They look great, the price was great, their packaging was great. Excellent all around! And best of all, I really like them!
