I found a great lamp at a second hand store and loved it so much that I went looking for another on line. It took quite a while because i had no name for it and a variety of search descriptions on Amazon and Google got me close, but no cigar. A google image search got me a brand name so I found this listing, but the price is double what it goes for at Home Depot Hampton Bay is their store brand.
I searched the manufacturer's number listed here, and found the lamp at Home Depot for $14.99.
AND it's a knock off of the lamp I have heavier thinner base, sturdier, shorter neck. Now i would gladly pay $40 for an actual duplicate of my lamp, but this ain't it.
Don't know why this commonly available and cheap lamp is listed for $40, but if you like the look if it, and there is a Home Depot nearby, and check on-line to see if your store carries this, because it is a pick-up only item.
