Turns any metal lamp into a touch lamp. Works well! When I touch the lamp, it goes on, touch again, it goes off. Nothing more or less. Just plug the cord in, does not have the hassle of an adapter that does not fit the threads or the bulb or the socket. It even makes the cord conductive. My lamp is on the wall, over the bed, so it is nice to just reach halfway up and touch the cord... the light goes on! No more pulling my shoulder out of its socket trying to fumble for the darn switch.

This product pretty much does exactly what it says it will do. There should be a disclaimer however that explains this item DOES NOT WORK WITH FLUORESCENT BULBS!! You cannot use fluorescent bulbs, as this mechanism causes the lights to flicker endlessly. Traditional bulbs are required and then it works PERFECT!

This does the trick perectly. One touch and my lamp is on and one touch and my lamp is off, just like it says! I'm using it with a CFL bulb and have no problems.
Update: it seems to be causing voltage irregularities making my life lamp buzz and flicker when it is on.

The one I got, only lasted a week. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in hoping it would reset itself. It did work good while it lasted. If it wasn't for the cost and repackaging I would of sent it back. I don't recommend buying this.

This product worked correctly for barely a day. Since then the light goes on and off by itself. It went on twice in the middle of the night last night so I give up and am getting rid of it. Unfortunately I discarded the packaging so I guess I am stuck. Just glad it wasn't more expensive!
