I was looking for a direct replacement shade for my lamp, and took a chance with this one. My old, broken lamp measured 8 1/2" long and 5 1/4" wide. Before I ordered this one, I posted a question about the size to make sure it would fit. Two people responded and said it was the same size, so I ordered it. The actual length is 9 1/8", and the actual width is 5 5/8". I was fortunate that my old lamp's frame was flexible and allowed me to use this shade. The shade is made well and looks good on our piano, but I'd recommend you test your lamp's flexibility and measure carefully before ordering this.
