I am a devoted user of the Germ Guardian appliance. I have not had a cold in 2 years. My only criticism is that the bulbs burn out too quickly. I've had them burn out in as little as one month. The two pack replacement bulbs I purchased from this source have lasted the longest. One burned out after 7 full months. The other is still going. I have 2 Guardians and run them constantly. I am very pleased with the longer life of these bulbs and just reordered.

These bulbs work well, and like clockwork after a several months they are gone. The replacements last about 1/2 as long as the originals that came with the unit.
