This lamp is exactly what I expected. We are using it in a nursery. The lamp shade only stays straight when you rotate the stand backwards.

Very disappointed in the quality of this lamp.

Shade rests on lamp base without much stability....therefore doesn't really hang evenly.

This might work well in a nursery, but not for my 10 year old's new Sports-themed room.
