. . . purchased two for tall night stands beside high bed. Old lamps were very nice but could not read by them. These stand solidly. Give off loads of light. Arrived right away. Packaged well against breakage. Do not expect others to have these. Just remodeled bedroom and hubby was so done with frou frou. He is crazy about these lamps.
