The lighting itself is a great balance between a soft glow and illumination. It looks real sharp and brightens my living room perfectly.
Besides the fact that I had to wire it up so it would work in an outlet there was one big drawback, the glass fits too tightly and got scuffed. I was able to remove most of it but there is now a noticeable dark scuff on it and I have no idea what I'll do when the bulb burns out seeing the fit is too tight. Of course the label says "Made in China", a big shocker that explains the poor design which caused the scuffing.
If it wasn't for the tightness I would have rated it at least a 4, possibly a 5 seeing it looks great and functions perfectly.
