Lamps are gorgeous, the shades are very ornate. Base replicates solid brass with a patina showing through. A quality item.

I saw these lamps in a furniture store for $179.00 EACH and fell in love with them. So when I looked them up on Amazon I couldn't believe I could get two for the price of one. They are gorgeous and simply a conversation piece! The shades are so different, that the dangles include a brass elephant! The top of lamp is a elephant! The elephant on the lamp shaft itself is holding a bell that has a night light in it. It is too cool, never seen before kind of accent piece for your home. The lamps are tall, great living or den area lighting. Can use a 60 watt bulb. Very well made, comes packed extremely well. If you love elephants or decorate Asian or Safari style these lamps are for you!

I love these lamps, they are beautiful. The only thing I would change is the power cord attachment to them. The way it is made, you can only place them one way. I would love to be able face them as I please, but it cannot be done. Otherwise I would have given them a five star rating.

I was disappointed when these lamps arrived. They are beautiful lamps, packed very well and nice and sturdy. I am giving them 3 stars because when they arrived, the finish was flaking off on the top of the base of the lamps around the elephants holding the lamp. I notified the company immediately and they responded to me right away and kept me very current on their trying to find a solution to my problem. They requested photos which I emailed to them. I was told that they checked with their factory and nothing was available there to repair the flaking off of the finish. They offered me a full refund if I would return them, or a $20.00 credit back to my credit card. I took the credit because the lamps are really nice and I thought I could find something to repair the finish. Also, I would not have been able to duplicate the complicated packing that they arrived in. My other concern was with the shipping. I chose to pay for shipping which was very reasonable. My friend who lives in Maui, ordered the same lamps the day after I did and chose the free Super Saver Shipping. She received her lamps 1 week before I did, and I live in the midwest. I mentioned this to the seller, and they were unable to give me a good answer, other than they did not know why this happened. It was just a frustrating experience because I still have to find something to repair the lamps, but they are so beautiful, other than all of this frustration, I am happy with them.
