bought 2 of these for use in rooms where grandchildren stay when they visit. i had an older one that uses a low watt light bulb, these take special bulbs (included). these work great but run hot. they have 2 levels of lighting so that helps. wish they were more subtly green but are ok.

I am thrilled with this purchase! It is so cute for my son's room and gives off just enough light for a night light. It has a second setting that also allows for a brighter light. It is absolutely adorable! As with previous reviews, I also agree that I wish I knew it contained lead paint; that would be the only bad thing I have to say about the lamp.

This product is beautiful and so nice as a nightlight for a child's room. I wish I had known it was made with leaded paint from China before I bought it. There was a note in the packaging but that is a little late to find out this information.
