I needed a new nightstand lamp. I like this one a lot---the shade is adorable--but it uses a low voltage chandelier bump and therefore, the lamp doesn't generate a lot of light. If you need a nightstand light for reading or something that requires good lighting, this is not for you. However, if you're just looking for a cute little lamp for a pink room, it's really really cute. Loved the price, too.

These lamps are awesome. If your looking for a cheap but yet good looking lamp, buy this one. Don't go to Wal mart or Target and buy the one everybody already has and has seen...get this one instead. Puts out a good amount of light. I actually have a 15watt bulb in mine instead of the 25watt max because it was too bright.

Wanting a small lamp which wouldn't be too bright, this fits the bill. The green matches my nursery set perfectly and the shade has a nice texture. Using it as a lamp for nightly feedings, it gives off enough to work with but not too much to prevent the baby from falling back asleep.

i'm a real man. i can usually figure things out. so let me just tell you how to assemble this thing because it frustrated the heck out of me. 1screw the black thing onto where the candelabra light bulb goes. 2THEN put the lamp shade onto that. 3THEN screw in the candelabra. i screwed the black thing on then put in the candelabra and then placed the lamp shade literally onto the candelabra (like an idiot) and the lamp shade is all hanging to one side i was like "WTH defective!!" i was seriously about to return the thing. i see no other reviews mentioning the odd (to me) assembly so i'll just assume it's my bad. its weird because you're putting your hand thru the tiny lamp shade opening on top (you can also reach from under the lamp shade) to screw in the candelabra. i have manly hands so its kind of a pain. but that's the way to do it (or at least that's the way i did it.) 4 stars because the shade was dented. i "popped" it back out but it's still not perfect. and there is a small reddish dot on the lamp shade that you can only see up close. i thought of the seinfeld episode where george buys elaine that cashmere sweater with the red dot on it. oh and the cord comes out of the bottom, and the rubber "feet" aren't big enough, so the lamp doesn't sit flush on a flat surface. kinda annoying. so the lamp is not perfect, but it serves its purpose.

Cute lamp as pictured but VERY SMALL. As in tiny small. I got it for a nursery so it will work for now but I wouldn't use it in any 'grown up' space. Easily assembled and while light bulbs are not common, they are not at all hard to find or expensive we actually had some on hand for other light fixtures in the house. Seems bright enough too.
