Review of Earth Electro Lamp

I like toys. Ok, so I'm delightfully immature and it's a good thing I teach middle school! I enjoy buying fun toys & display items for the circulation desk of our school library. The MHMS media center has a lava lamp, a plasma ball (so popular we have to clorox wipe that thing every other day!) and a host of bobble heads. Most purchased from Amazon. This cool globe is fun, gorgeous, and has a handy on/off button on base for turning off when the kids leave. Just to note, don't drop it on the floor. It has a glass element inside. It Breaks. My bad! had to buy another! Can you say, Doh! That's why I gave it only 3 stars for durable because the globe itself didn't break but the fun light up part did... but really it was my fault!

This lamp is more for mood than anything else. Definitely not bright enough to be a reading lamp. BUT it's both fun to look at and play with. It's small, cute, and can be place most anywhere. I love it and highly recommend it.

Best Deals for Earth Electro Lamp

Firstly, I'm pretty sure the horizontal measurement is based on the base of the lamp, not the globe itself, as the globe it self was pretty small. Also, the glass is all blue tinted, there is no green. The box said it may also come in shades of blue/green or purple, meaning yours is not likely to be blue and green like in the nice picture. Also, the surface has ridges from obvious glass mold lines that don't look that attractive. It looks pretty, but definitely not worth the price.

Secondly, mine was defective. I followed the instructions (which were basically put the globe into the base, plug in and turn on) and it never turned on. No glow, no electricity lines. I'm definitely returning this for a full refund rather than a fixed version though because the item should be worth about $12-15 for how small/not incredibly cool looking it is when compared with other lamps of this kind.
