Definitely a great desk lamp...bright and good quality/workmanship. One thing I don't care for, but can live with is the look of the lamp. I could see it as a fixture in a doctor's office or hospital setting.

The Pros the price, it looks nice and the light is bright and white, the neck is flexible. The things I would improve: The on-off switch is underneath the bulb on the upper part of the neck not easy to turn on and off. The base is larger than it needs to be taking up too much room. While it is nice white light, it is not comparable to 'sunlight'. I take pictures in sunlight and I've taken pictures with this light and they are not alike. I bought this for my workbench where I need flexible bright white light to work on detailed jewelry project. Bought this lamp for my wife's '1/6th scale' miniature furniture business. There are some days in Florida when the sun is hidden by rain clouds which makes it very difficult for her (or anyone) see the small details necessary to produce her 'handmade' pieces of furniture. We needed a new desk lamp that provided excellent light (the eyes are getting old). Thought we'd give this lamp a try. We are very pleased with the clear, white light it provides and we can see so much better. I liked it so much I bought one for my 91 year old father. This light is not high enough. If I am working on something spread out, I have to tilt the light and then it shines in my eyes. Would be great if they added another 6" to the goose neck.
