I've looked at literally hundreds, if not thousands of lamps online, and even bought a few only to return them because colors were off, they were cheaply made etc. This is by far the best quality and most beautiful lamp I've ever seen in this price range so I bought 4! The shade is whiter than in the picture but is not brilliant white, and the base is even more elegant than it appears online. I also love the 3-way switch, which is surprisingly hard to find.
