This lamp looks great; the only problem with it is assembly. It arrived with the socket unscrewed. While I'm sure this is standard with lamps, the difficulty was in getting it in. The cord needed to be pushed into the lamp, and it really needed to be forced. I could only get it a couple centimeters at a time until I removed the base and was able to pull it in rather than push it. (The base was on with only flimsy glue, so it wasn't a problem to remove and put back on.)
It was mildly frustrating, but I'm happy with the finished product.
