I had bought a ceiling light at Lowe's and loved it. The colors were vivid and beautiful and matched my room perfectly. When I saw this lamp I was so excited because it looked exactly like the ceiling light. I was disappointed when it arrived tho. It's not made as well and the bluish gray you see in the pic isn't on the lamp I got. It also looks as though some of the squares of mother of pearl are burnt around the edges. It gives off an odd odor that I'm hoping will go away over time.

This lamp is even more beautiful than the picture. The one problem I have with it is that the top is attached by the cord running through the lamp to the bottom and I can not get it to attach tightly or completely level...it could just be me or this particular lamp but it does bother me that it is never exactly straight. It is so pretty though that I still would not return it but if knew about the connection in advance I probably would not have purchased in the first place.
