The one I have has 57 watts on the bulb. It had nice light. I don't know exactly how many hours it worked, but it wasn't 3000. I'd guess 5-6 months.
I'll try one more, but as we speak it was not worth the extra money.

I love these light bulbs. I have used this bulb since 2002 in my garage door openers and dusk to dawn lighting around the house and patio. The bulbs last longer than the 2.7 year rating and are very bright. I have had one buld inside a light that is dim at dusk and brightens when motion is detected. The bulb has been burning for about 3 years now. Because I cannot find them in the local retail stores, I will be stocking up on them.
