I'm always nervous about buying from a picture on the internet, but this was a pleasant surprise. This is a beautiful lamp that we are using in our Master Bedroom. The night light portion creates a nice ambiance in the room and makes it look warm, cozy and inviting. It creates a very relaxing atmosphere. When I was younger, I'm sure thoughts other than relaxation would be in my description, but alas, those days are over. Never the less, I still think they're great and mhy wife and I really enjoy them.I ordered 2 of these lamps, and I abolutely love them! They are larger than I expected, very well made and packaged well. They required very little assembly, which was simple.
