Easy to assemble, decent size and very solid. This was a Mother's Day gift, otherwise I wouldn't have been willing to shell out that much money for it.
A huge plus was that it is packaged very very well, the box came in beat all to heck but there wasn't a bit of damage to the lamp.
The only detraction for the lamp is an astetic one, the light in the middle globe. It only has one small bulb located very off center, which presents an uneven appearance, yes it is only an accent light but it results in a very odd appearance when used. Two small bulbs spaced evenly would have been much better.I was truly pleased when I received this lamp. I was not able to put it together because of arthiritis in my hands, but my son Mark did a beautiful job. I would recommend this lamp to anyone.
