When I ordered this item, I expected the shade to be white. It is off-white, almost a cream. According to the seller's policies, buyers pay for return shipping, and the issue with the color description didn't matter in my case. I would be hesitant to order another white lamp shade on-line. There are many shades of white and the pictures can be deceiving. I plan to buy locally.

I bought the lamp shade for a lamp i have had since childhood.. I measured and bought this one.. not sure if it'd work.. I was totally surprised.. I still had the warp for the lamp. and the shade fit beautifully and looks Lovely.

I need to buy 2 small but not mini lampshades. I am surprised that this company does not provide measurements for its lampshades. It seems very obvious that those should be included as well as how it attaches to the lamp. I cannot use clip-on nor spider attachments.
