i bought this lamp several months ago. i have to say i was really surprised how extremely light weight it is. never the less it is so pretty and unique. it uses two small night light bulb and has three levels of brightness. i would classify it as an accent/ decorative/ night light. i love unusual whimsical lamps and this certainly fits that description. arrived much faster than i expected too!
