This inline power switch really does its job well. The instructions are there for the rookie, and the only thing you need to concern yourself about is choosing the hot wire to cut into. In my case, the hot wire was marked so that you could easily tell that it was hot. I recently purchased a food dehydrator, and to my surprise, the only way to turn it off is to pull the plug.
