I bought two of these lamps, primarily because of their attractive, modernistic styling. While I would have preferred the red or white version that also appear on the Amazon Website, neither, unfortunately, was available. The LED light source has proven both very bright and also unexpectedly durable. I've had no problem with these lamps at all and would purchase another color any time.

This lamp did not meet my expectations. The design is beautiful, bu the plastic hardware cheapens the overall look of it a bit. The general size of it was much larger than it appears in the photo, and it simply did not mesh with the overall theme of my cubicle at work. It's a great conversation piece exactly the kind of disruption I did not want in a cubicle. The lighting that it provides is minimal, so I had a very concentrated work space. Ingenious and marvelous design, looks like an expensive Erte sculpture sitting on my desk. The operations of the lamp are amazing, giving the lamp a great multitude of positions, each accomplished with ease, stability and perfection. I bought the IMG Beacon 450 and it is easy on the eyes, a warm light that sharpens and illuminates what I'm focusing on or reading, and creates a pleasant atmosphere. There is nothing on the market that compares to this lamp, I've looked hard and had many; it does what much more expensive lamps cannot do. If you sit at a desk, day or night, writing or working on a computer, or if you simply want something beautiful and exotic looking to grace and illuminate your living room or bedroom, don't hesitate, this is the lamp for you.
