I say "cute" because 14 inches is not big for a lamp. But it is nicely constructed enough that my kids could knock it over within the first 2 days I owned it without it sustaining much damage. The art is as nice as pictured. It doesn't emit a lot of light, but anyone buying a 14 inch lamp probably isn't using it to read by anyway. It looks perfect in a room with other rams stuff.
