These lamps are beautiful, unique, and well built. The bases are very heavy and very sturdy. I love the touch feature so much I often just touch the lamps all over just to confirm that it works as well as it really does. I think the criticisms in other reviews regarding the lack of brightness are very incorrect. On the highest setting, these lamps are as bright as you would want a bedside or desktop lamp to be. I'm no interior designer, but I don't think this is the size or type of lamp one should buy to brightly light an entire room. They are perfect for my bedside tables and I get tons of great comments on them.

Nice lamp; however, it is not quite bright enough to read by. One of the bulbs burned out after using it for a couple of weeks. Was able to purchase a replacement bulb at the local home improvement store.

The first light I received arrived and did not work. The company sent me another one, four month later it stopped working. If you want it for a paperweight it is great but if you want to actually have a light that works keep looking!
