This floor lamp is OK for chair side reading, the 40W bulb is bright enough, the finish is good and the adjustable arm works OK. However, the darn lamp won't stand straight! It leans toward the lampshade, and I haven't found any way to correct that except to put a wedge under the base. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars.
