We're always running about of 3-ways, so I bought a big box. First bulb out of the box didn't work, so now I'm worried that I have more duds in the box. I will update if there is. I have replaced ALL my CFL three way bulbs and went back to incedesant, while you can still get them. The three way CFL,s were too expensice and did not last six months. Plus the glass cracked in two. Mercury poisoning risk? It is criminal that government is FORCING the use of these CFL's, the inherant dangers, and the majority of the CFL's are made in China. These incadesant bulbs were made in South America, it is ashamed the GE closed the last incadesant bulb factory in the USA a while ago, to make more profit importing CHEAP CLF's. The first one I took out was broken. I was able to use the next one. I don't know if there are any more broken ones because I don't want to take them all out of box. I would not ship them back even if there is any more broken just for the bother. These bulbs are not three way at all...the packaging says they are but they do not work. Save your money, buy from someone else.
