Currently I'm a medical student so I spend most of my time studying at a desk and I love this little lamp. The first thing I do in the morning is to turn the lamp on with my finger (b/c its a sensor button which I was very much amused by) and start my day with music. It lights up the space I need and its the perfect size. I have it sitting on top of the mini refrigerator right next to my desk. Highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a little lamp for those late night/early morning study sessions!

This lamp lived up to expectations...it is beautiful and appears to be very well constructed (even the shade seems upscale). I needed a nice lamp for my mahogony sideboard and this works very well. The height is perfect (not too tall) for the space and it adds a touch of elegancee to the room! This was a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it next to the bed. We particularly like the swivel arm so that you can adjust the light. This is a substantial lamp and looks very handsome. I ordered this lamp to go by my husbands chair. It offers both light and somewhere to put his coffee. The table is a heavy tempered glass so it is durable but being clear it doesnt look heavy. The lamp itself is very well made and sturdy the base is very heavy so there little chance of tipage. The bronze color is a nice neutral. I would recommend it.

I was looking for the movie "Room 237" when I came across this. I saw this and knew that it would be perfect for the home theater room. As far as the lamp itself goes, it's a lamp. It has legs and a switch. The switch turns a bulb on and off. It works as intended. It's the shade that counts; the shade that's cool. I see that ball rolling up on the shade and my hair stands on end..."Dad, what's in Room 237?"

Now I need one for "Star Trek!"

Cheap Sports Accent Lamp

I ordered two lamps, one football and one baseball, for our boy's room.

They came partially unassembled but packaged well. The assembly was easy but the upright post did not line up perfectly when screwed in. Not a big deal and no one will notice except the person that puts it together.

It is rated for 60watt max bulb. The bulb sits on top of the shade bracket. (some lamps have the shade on top of the bulb. This might prevent you from using a larger CFL bulb which would probably stick out from the top of the shade.

Both shades had brown trim so they look nice together. They are maybe a little taller than a cereal box but not by much.

Price seems about right for the quality.

This lamp is nice but not as nice as it looked in the pictures. It does appear to be good quality. Lamp arrived very quickly but arrived in questionable shape. Luckily the lamp was bubble wrapped and it did not break but the shade was marked and damaged. The post office had put a note on the package saying that it "arrived damaged" and I hesitated opening it, however it was halfway open anyway (yes, I could see my order half way hanging out of the box). As far as the item goes, it is just ok. I don't think it was my best purchase.

My eleven year old granddaughter LOVED the lamp! It is a great size and I really liked the finish used on the ball, shoes and whistle...I was expecting to see a perfect white and black ball, but all items looked like they had been "used: ... which is what they really should look like. One of the shoes had come loose so i glued it back on which is why i gave it 4 stars.

I bought a couple of these sets for bed rooms. Not bad. I was looking at single floor lamps in a similar style and saw that you can get all three pieces for the same price. These aren't bad. Better quality than I expected, but not the best quality. Heavy enough, modern enough, but if you get to picking them them, you can tell they aren't expensive but if you have a spare bedroom or need an inexpensive set, this will do just fine.

The brushed silver and white will go fine if you have any other brushed silver decor. Really nice deal.

I really like the idea of these lamps, but the packaging is not the best. Yes, it was a pain to remove and made a mess, but that didn't matter to me. The dings and scratches, however, do. The height of the taller lamp, while unexpectedly short, is perfect to be next to a couch. I also do not care for the shades, but I knew that buying them. Overall, they look great.

Used it for thirteen months as a desk lamp, thus very rarely touch it except for turning on or off. One of

the castings broke. Because it is over a year old the most the manufacturer will do is give me a break and sell me on for $99.

Once you have tried an Ott-LIte, you will never use any other light. I have Ott desk lights, task lamps, craft lights and now this one. Looks stunning in the living room and perfect to read by. Nice, heavy art glass shade, this is a really heavy and well made lamp. My husband liked mine so well I had to buy him one, too!

We recieved the light a few days ago. It is NOT an OTT Lite. The other OTT lights we have use a special bulb, this just uses a regular screw-in florescene light bulb, 16 watts, that says it is made by OTT. The light quality does not seem as good as the other OTT lights we have. We'll keep the light as it looks good, and fits nicely in the spot we put it in, I would not recommend this to anyone that wants a real OTT light. Note that the base is nice and heavy, so it should be hard to knock the lamp off of an end-table (a good thing for us with a lot of grandkids around).

These were used in a vase of water as a center piece, we could have turned off the lights and would have had enough just from the ten of these. They were a total hit!

I got these for my wedding coming up in Sept. But I needed to experiment with them to find the best arrangement for my centerpieces, so decided to go ahead and do the review.

Basically, it does what it says and is really cute in the vase. I left it set up in a vase of water for at least 3 days and stayed lit the whole time. The only problem I have with it..its very bright! Really almost too bright. A softer glow would have been much better.

You get 10 in a pack. They are reusable. They each carry 2 watch-type round batteries. What keeps them submersible is a rubber o-ring. Works great. I opened one up like a was gonna replace the battery and then put it back in the water and it is still fine.

The lights came in perfect condition and all of them worked. I had to play with a couple to get them to work but they all did light. I won't be using them until my wedding in August so I will find out then how long they will last.

These are going to be perfect for my wedding! They shipped quick, and were packaged well. I had two that did not work upon arrival, but I work in a factory for a living, and know how a simple circuit works. After inspecting the two that didn't work, I noticed there is a little piece of metal on the inside of the bottom part that comes up the side inside the bottom of the light. This little pice of metal must touch the inside rim of the top of the light in order to complete the circuit. I pulled this up slightly, and screwed on the top, and it worked! Did this with the second one, and viola! It worked too! So before thinking they don't work upon arrival, monkey with them a bit, and I bet you can get them to work.

I bought this table light to place on a sideboard in my living area. Above the sideboard is a mixed media group of wall art. This small but very powerfull light washes the entire grouping. I have had numerous friends inquire and comment about it after seeing it work. It's a very modern design but, one that would fit well with any decor. The small wattage LED bulb is very powerfull and does a great job with the adjustable diffuser which helps direct the light exactly where you want it. You can't go wrong with this little gem! Another great product, thanks Philips and Amazon!

Bought this a few week ago and hardly ever turn it off. It's a beautiful lamp and I enjoy watching the current run through it. The blue and green are stron but the red is a little lacking. I do thouroughly love this lamp and am considering purchasing another, if I can find one.

Here is a brief video clip of this lamp. I apologize for the sideways view: fit the camera better. As you can see, the lamp is very similar to the plasma-type globes that you see at the malls. This lamp will attract the light similarly when you touch it. Overall, it is pleasing to look at and does NOT get hot. One reviewer said the base is ugly. I would state it is functional as an electrical base. The color distribution stays fixed.

Hmmm... I was under the impression that the picture of the item displayed on this page represented the item I would receive, but that isn't the case. The item itself is pretty cool though, and if blue light and blue light only is what you're looking for, you'll love this little novelty. If it's multi-colored electricity (like the photo on this page) that you want, get the Infin-8 Electra Lamp in Blue / Multi LumiSource. See my posted photos for a better look at what you get with this model.

Since the item description describes a blue hand-blown glass "globe", I guessed that the description was one for some other similar item, as this has nothing on it that remotely resembles a "globe". Having concluded that that part of the description was incorrect, I discarded the entire description from consideration. I was wrong, dagnabbit. It's the photo that is generic, and is being used to depict all of the different models available for this item, this one being the blue glass/blue electricity model. Instead of multi-colored light, you see only blue-colored electricity inside this lamp, as per the description.

Regarding it being great for a desk lamp, I wouldn't go that route if I were you nowhere near enough light from this unit for that purpose strictly a novelty & decorative lighting item.

Three stars only because of the inaccurate photo that led me to order the wrong item. If it hadn't been for that, I'd have 5'd it for sure it is pretty darn groovy to look at!

This desk lamp is light weight, stylish, easy to manipulate to get the best lighting angle, provides plenty of bright light and saves on electricity. The desk lamps I have owned in the past have been bigger, heavier, and had very limited range of motion. This desk lamp lacks those undesirable features and it also doesn't heat up the vicity like my old lamps did which makes it safe to have and use near small children. I also expect the LED bulb to last me for quite a while which means I can use it without having to worry about the bulb burning out and having to go out to get a replacement. All in all I'm very happy with this lamp and think it is a great value.

Received my light with 48 hours of ordering, well packed and intact. The color of the LED is complimenting to the window I have in the room, and is not harsh to my eyes. The head of the lamp stays in the position you want, and does not droop down like others I have tried (and returned). The base is sturdy, and the on/off switch is easily accessible.

I strongly recommend getting this fixture. You will not be sorry.

I really love the touch lamp, so beautiful. Only thing was the bottom bubbled out and wobbles around but I put a piece of cardboard under it and now it is much better and sits even and straight.
