I looked at a dozen task lights..the problem with most of them is LED Output is too low. The humanscale is SuperBright, low energy consumption and it goes in any position. Nice articulation.

This light certainly does not live up to its price. The light assembly is made out of plastic, and the LED is too anemic to serve as a useful task light. In a lab of 35 people, not a single one thought that the lamp met the basic standards for being useful. Even at $20 (given the quality of the components, the manufacturer would be making a profit even at this price), it would be still be overpriced.
