I purchased this Cranes Shoji Lamp (in black) about 3 weeks ago. When it came, I put it on my black Chinese table (with drawers) that stands in my living room. Putting it together took no work at all....and I'm all thumbs. Instead of using a regular bulb, I chose red. The effect is amazing!!! I loved this so much that two days later I ORDERED ANOTHER ONE. Now I have one on each side of the table...with a plant in between. The red glow of the shade with those black cranes is astounding!!!!!! There is an on-off switch on the cord for an easy way to turn it on and off. Don't pass this up! If I had room, I'd buy 10 more!!!!
