I bought two of these lamps for my bedroom but one fixture was welded crooked to the base and both the shades are ivory, not even close to white. I like the style but want white shades and a well-made fixture.

The lamp itself is beautiful.. perfect for our application... but I will never understand why furniture.. lamps in particular, need to be so expensive... we bought this used and it was still over $80 for the pair... This isn't a knock on Amazon, they are that expensive everywhere you look.. these are of much higher quality than similarly priced new ones... Shipped really quick too...
