Excellent lamp with a touch switch that has three light settings for your desired brightness. The long neck of the lamp and the bendable head allow you to get a wide coverage but not blind yourself. I highly recommend this lamp!

this is what I received. I was under the impression that Amazon.com sells new products only. This product was visibly handled and considerably "weathered" floor model or demo at best. I am not disappointed with the product, I am however disappointed with Amazon.com that they allow this flea market item to go through as a new product.....

I probably need to get out more, but this is one beautifully styled yet very functional piece. I've tried several desk lamps from various manufacturers (some ok and some were the greatest pieces of doo doo ever to escape from the hind end of retail!)and I believe I have found my Holy Grail! The sleek design with chrome and wood accents lends just enough retro and forward thinking to blend quite well with my decor.

The manufacturer of this lamp was sold to another company and the new company makes no effort to maintain the product line, so when your light bulb burns out no one will be able to tell you where to get a replacement. I called OfficeMax (the seller), the manufacturer (Catalina lighting), and 4 different bulb web sites, all with no luck. When the bulb burns out you might as well throw the lamp away.

This lamp was just what I wanted. Well made and works excellent. I would have preferred a different color but for the price I am perfectly satisfied with this purchase. Great value!
