I've could not wait for these lamps to be back in stock from the first time I seen them. Now I see why they sell so quickly... They are really beautiful and look lovely on my nightstands. Even though I paid attention to the stated size of these lamps, they were much bigger than I was anticipating and much too large for nightstands.They would work for a living room. They are in fact very attractive and have a lovely deco design. The main problem was that, given that they didn't work out, I had to pay shipping in both directions -$15 to get them here and $26 to ship them back before you add on insurance and delivery confirmation which bounced it up to almost $30. I checked all the different ways to ship them and USPS was cheaper than UPS or Fed Ex. So be sure you really want something this big or you will be out $45 and have no lamps at the end of it, like me.

These lamps are a bit large, but the shades and metal are beautiful against our blue paint and white trim. Very sharp, classy and clean.
