Although I loved the lamps which I planned on using for my bedroom on our night stands, one of the elephants tusks were broken during shipment. It was an easy fix with superglue, rather than risking sending it back. There are many great details on the elephant, and they are a perfect size with just enough light for night stands or a small area.

The assembled lamp is exactly the size the dimensions on the site say they are, yet the lamp looks smaller than I expected. Maybe that's because it is depicting an elephant! It arrived well protected in excellent packing. The elephant looks like real brass or bronze, and is attractively detailed. All in all I am very pleased.
