This is a lovely lamp. Nice height, very bright, and the figure is well done. The shade appears to be high quality and is nicer than it appears in the picture. The lamp is NOT bronze, however, nor is it metal. It appears to be resin or plaster with a very thin coat of bronze-colored paint. When I took it out of the box, I wiped away the styrofoam dust and the paint flaked off too. Now it is covered with bare white splotches. (I guess this Indian pony was meant to be a pinto.) The finish is not well done, which is very disappointing. I've had resin figures before that had a bronze finish. The paint did not flake off, as this lamp does. I am waiting to hear from the seller about a refund/exchange.
