Long story had one for another daughter and had found it in a garage sale. Other daughter TOTALLY JEALOUS of this lamp and I was disgusted over the arguing. Since it was an odd unique item I figured I'd never EVER find another one! I was WRONG! My "other" daughter is SO DELIGHTED! I was also very pleased with the service I got from this seller that he was not only able but WILLING to ship it via a method that was easier for my daughter living in NYC with no door-man for private shippers to receive via USPS. This is a very nice looking lamp, with sturdy construction, but it is not very functional as far as lighting goes. The lamp comes with a clear 25 watt E12 "Golf" style lightbulb that is very dim. The bulb's light output is minimal, as it barely lights the surge plug that I set it next to.
