This is just a singular/ONE-pack, NOT a 2-pack of timers as described. And it's relatively flimsy, but workable. The only real advantage is that it's one of the last of the table-top timers whose main body (the part with the 'setting-dial'), that doesn't have to be plugged directly into the wall...instead, it has a long cord to reach the wall, and you get the convenience of setting (and re-setting) the time(s) of ON and OFF from the convenience of your table top (etc.) without having to reach behind a couch, etc.

I'm using this model to switch on and off an aquarium lighting system. It works perfectly and is far cheaper than petstore options. Unlike many others old at home depot and the like this one is dead silent in operation. It thankfully does not sound like a ticking kitchen timer.

I like that this timer can be placed near the lamp. I hated crawling on the floor to program other timers. It Is easy to program and can be switched from a timer to regular lighting by sliding a small piece on top of the timer. I have recommended this timer to friends and will be purchasing more.

This timer is very loud and the ticking can be heard across the house. It constantly loses time....about 1/2 hour per day! Over a period of a few days, the time of day was off by 4 hours. Not a good timer for my purpose of turning lights on and off while gone on a vacation. Do not recommend this timer.

Timer performs well and is as advertised. This distributer shipped product well before expected date, GOOD JOB. Timer is great for a table top light with an electrical outlet buried behind a couch. Looks nice and is very easy to set up, don't even need instructions included.
